I love Candler Park Market. It's so nice to have a combination small grocery store/sandwich shop in the neighborhood. For being a small grocery store, they are amazingly well stocked and with a lot of the same kinds of healthy products you find at Whole Foods Market. They also carry great local products in dairy, produce and ice cream/popsicles. In the deli section, their sandwiches and burgers are excellent. If you like garlic fries, definitely check theirs out! Also, although I'm not a wine person, they have quite a selection of wine as well. I have always found the staff to be friendly. This is a gem of a neighborhood business.
I love you so much CPM. A godsend if you live nearby, I come very often and appreciate the selection of snacks and grocery staples. Tried the Deli for the first time today and my breakfast sandwich was hearty and tasty. I will be back again and again.
This pizza is from Felinis at Candler Park. Love this place!
Still great after all these years. They offer an unmatched beer and wine selection, very good dairy case, a small deli, and the usual other grocery staples. Some of the prices are a bit high, but many are quite reasonable. And staff are friendly and helpful.
I used to love this place and regularly ordered deli sandwiches, breakfast biscuits, bagel sandwiches etc. But the quality of the food has been steadily declining. I just received an order that I placed through postmates and one item was missing completely. The ones I did get are inedible, including this Candler Club which had literally two thin slices of ham and one slice of turkey, all so small they took up about a third of the bread (picture attached). I just had to laugh when I opened it up. It also had an odd taste to it. Next up was the lox and cream cheese on an “everything bagel”. Except the bagel had about three poppy seeds and two sesame seeds on it. No other seasoning. Inside there was, I kid you not, about a 1/2 teaspoon of cream cheese total. It was spread so thinly I wasn’t even sure there was any on it. Then, the garlic parsley fries. They were stale and all of the garlic and parsley was on the bottom of the container like they just dumped it in there and then threw old fries on top so when I opened it up the fries looked and tasted completely cold and unseasoned. This was literally one of the worst food orders I’ve ever received. And if it had just been one item that was wrong or missing that would be one thing. But it was almost the entire order. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the food used to be good. I’ll try again in a few months and see if they can redeem themselves.
Best neighborhood market intown! We always find something fun.
