Always liked this place. The specials they have between 3 and 4 are amazing.
Wow, what happened to this place?! It's now just rude hostesses and oblivious servers. Stopped for lunch on Feb 10. The hostess, who never bothered to utter a word from the moment we walked in, to after she sat us. Not a hello or an acknowledgement, even when I said thank you after seating us. Just walked away quickly. We sat on the patio with one other table waiting for service from the bartender, who covers the patio service. At this point, no one was at the bar yet and after 10 minutes, a group showed up at the bar and the bartender promptly began serving them. All the while the two tables of patrons on the patio sat without any acknowledgement or even water. At this point, frustrations had peaked and both tables of customers walked out. It's sad that CPK has let this happen as this was a monthly stop for snacks on a weekend. But not anymore, it's off the weekend lunch list.

Typical CPK fare. Service was good and the interior was modern and clean. Seems like they did a refresh here recently. No wait and prices same as all their other places. Had a traditional pizza and a combo soup and salad. Easy in and easy out onto Rt 1.
Poor food handling. Even the manger walks around touching everything without washing his hands and on top of that preparing my food with his hair swinging all over because he does not wear a hair net. No hand washing after touching on things in and out of the kitchen. No glove wearing after touching on everything. The manager went into the kitchen and threw on a pair of gloves and now he has clean hands!!! My 1st time going here will be my last time leaving. ServSafe and the Manager Food Handler Certifications do not exist here. People need to start caring again and holding places like this accountable. Someone will get sick from all the cross contamination(if they haven't already) and the Health Department will catch up. I just hope more people stop being afraid to let them know there is a proper way to handle food. To be fair, I am a chef and I hold myself to a very high standard when preparing other people's food. I expect the same from fellow food preppers. This is not over by a long shot. This place is on my radar now. Holding restaurants and its employees accountable.
