Cafe de France

This place was great - never been before, but stumbles on this gem.

They never open on time. They are supposed to open at 7am. It’s 7:30 am right now and they still aren’t open. Very frustrating

Nice change of pace in the neighborhood

Cafe De France is my favorite French restaurant in Denver. Amazing food, service, friendly staff specially Alberto is the best!!!

Overpriced

Tasty Quiche although the portion was very small. Their White Chocolate Raspberry coffee is a must! If you are looking for a typical French food you’ll be disappointed as there are almost no French classic on their dinner menu. It’s mostly pasta. Would definitely come back for the coffee!

I took my Dad here for his birthday dinner. The food was so delicious and our server was delightful!

Had dinner with my sister Friday night. It was a bit later so it was not crazy busy. The service from our waiter Jose was absolutely amazing. Jose was attentive, polite, friendly and made you feel very welcome, not like just another customer. I asked Jose what was good and he gave some great advice on what I might like. The food was absolutely amazing. Champagne Chicken was a delicious delite to my taste buds. I got to taste the Alfredo cheese sauce on pasta and I think my soul touched heaven in that moment. I have traveled all over the world and have eaten in many different establishments. I will say this is one of the best restaurants here in colorful Colorado that stands out. Our server Jose is one of the most incredible servers that I've had. Jose went out of his way to make sure you enjoyed his service, the delicious food served and Cafe de France. I will definitely return to enjoy more of these tasty dishes they create and would highly recommend Cafe de France. Dietary restrictions: I explained about my 2 allergies and Jose assured me he would make sure my order would not contain any or have any cross contamination. First time in a very long time, I felt comfortable ordering and believing, I wouldn't have any problems. Thank you Jose! Parking: Plenty of parking around the restaurant.

This restaurant took me completely by surprise. I was meeting a friend for brunch, and this was a place she decided upon. It's in the outdoor shopping plaza at University Hills, basically a large strip mall. I pulled up in front of the restaurant, and it just blended in with its surroundings, but when I walked it, I was struck at how pleasant and inviting the atmosphere was. It belied the strip mall shell in which it was encased. I was seated and the server very promptly introduced himself and offered me a beverage, but I decided to wait until my friend arrived. While waiting I looked through the menu and again was surprised and impressed. It is very extensive and creative. My friend arrived and in her recommendation we both had the French onion soup, I ordered the spinach quiche and she ordered a salad. The quiche was not quite warmed enough, but it was very tasty. Despite the temperature, I enjoyed it very much. Throughout our time there he server was very attentive and very cordial. Overall it was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend trying it, and I will definitely be back again. I deducted one star on the food, only because the quiche should've been a little hotter, but that was minor.
