Came on St Patrick’s Day for the first time and even with the place being crazy, we had a great experience. Brandon was fantastic! He handled all the chaos while still providing excellence service! Would definitely come back knowing he’s here.
Disappointing Experience at Burnside Bar/Restaurant My brother and I visited Burnside on Friday, March 15th, 2024, around 11:55am, excited to experience its reputed ambiance and offerings. As a mustache aficionado, my brother was particularly intrigued by the establishment. However, our anticipation quickly turned to disappointment as we encountered an unsettling situation. Despite arriving before others, we were perplexed to find ourselves waiting in line while individuals who arrived later were granted entry ahead of us. This disregard for proper queue etiquette left us feeling slighted and undervalued as patrons. The incident not only tarnished our impression of Burnside but also raised concerns about the establishment's customer service and fairness in managing guest queues. While we cannot speak to the quality of the food or atmosphere within, our initial interaction left a sour taste in our mouths, prompting us to leave without experiencing what Burnside had to offer fully. Overall, our visit to Burnside was marred by an unfortunate display of favoritism, casting doubt on the establishment's commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons. As such, we cannot recommend Burnside based on our brief encounter.
This place is awesome. Thursday is Karaoke, and Kenny is the best host you could ever want.
If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Best place in Indy with the best staff.
Bartender upstairs was great. our mule drinks were delicious and we tipped him handsomely. Bartenders on the first floor weren’t so friendly. They told us we couldn’t stand at the bar? So we moved to the back where I got hit in the head by the sliding bathroom Door. We were very confused on the overall vibe. There are three floors to this place all with different music playing. The first floor was full on club music, yet there’s western decor and memorabilia and portraits of historical figures on the walls … the 2nd floor had an guy doing acoustic country western covers and he was fantastic but no room to dance and no one was even paying attention to him. He was the star. It felt like a Nashville vibe. The 3rd floor was cool but again no room to move around and a lot of young people just standing around screaming to each other over loud music. Idk we were just very confused overall of what the place was trying to be.
Been going to Indy for 30+ years , went there New years eve Last night. My new favorite place!!!!!
Great bar, great people, worth a visit
