If you want to pay extra for TV dinners, go here! My husband and I have given Bob Evans multiple chances but this is officially our last time. A couple months ago, we noticed our order was wrong when we got home so we called to see what we could do about it. The manager was super hostile and trying to accuse us of lying and kept asking us “what do you want me to do?” We just reassured him we weren’t upset, we just wanted our food and asked for a remake. Thankfully they did but it was an unprofessional and rude experience. Tonight we decided to order again and the food is so obviously microwaved. The mashed potatoes had solid, hardened flakes and chunks of overcooked/ old potatoes, the macaroni was the same, definitely old. And the steak was like a tv dinner Salisbury steak/ bland beef patty. Everything was lukewarm or cold. I guess I’d never noticed because I always ordered breakfast (kinda have to make that fresh) but I’m pretty sure almost everything dinner-wise is microwaved. Just can’t believe I paid so much for microwaved food. So just a heads up to save your money and go to Cracker Barrel down the road instead!

Great food especially breakfast. I like the turkey and dressing and they have some of the best desserts in town including a giant cookie.

Very friendly and great service

Went in for breakfast and was good as always. They seemed short staffed, but our waitress did an excellent job of taking care of us, and the food came out fast and delicious. Returned and had the same experience.

First day, great service, great food. Second day only one waiter for large area. To many people not wanting to work!

The hash browns were great but not hot. Sourdough toast was cold. Eggs done perfectly. Our waiter was very polite and attentive.

Not that great of a breakfast. Fair at best. Maybe the whole theme, decor and food have seen better days.

We had a wonderful experience last time we were here. This experience was quite the opposite. The front doors were filthy with dirt build up and finger prints. Even the menus had greasy fingerprints. It makes you wonder, do they care how things run in the kitchen. Meat tasted slightly off in skillet, like it was too old and spoiled. It overall was disappointing and wasn't something I would ever order again. Compared to other skillets it I have had elsewhere, this was at the bottom of my list. The food was bland and not as good as it was 6 months ago. Would hate to see it go under, because no one is paying attention to small things, that could have easily be fixed. Our server was friendly, but not particularly warm.

Waited to be seated for awhile 2 people just walked pasted 1 was behind the counter acting busy. Lol. To the manager asking him to then grab us to seat us. Staff seems to just be stuck no energy. Great location so it should always be busy.

This Bob Evans is special as it's one of few that have shop if you should have to wait before seating. Otherwise, you can appreciate the service and staff at this hospitable place to eat with hearty food in a nice atmosphere. It is a recommended stop if you should need to eat on the east side of Nashville.
