Phenomenal restaurant, food and service!! A staple in the Castro. Highly recommend! Great wine selection too.

Always a great experience

Never again. The food was not bad, but the rudeness of the sever is what will keep me from coming back. I accidentally left my phone on the table when I left the restaurant. When I came back to retrieve it he actually had the nerve tell me he didn't like my background photo on my phone with a nasty additude which simply had a fire truck with a American flag on it for a fallen fire fighter. I choose not to engage him because it just wasn't worth it. I can only assume that he didn't like the American flag. Parking: Parking is extremely difficult in that area.

Honestly sub par food and service

Such great atmosphere, as soon as we walk in the owner greeted us with open arms. There was a DJ playing smooth R&B and old school music. Definitely will be going back, when I’m back home.

My first visit to San Fran and the Castro area on 22nd Jan 2024. Beautiful dinner with two friends who I’d not seen for over twenty years. Problems began when we paid for our evening. Wouldn’t accept three credit cards for three people! Bill over US$300 .. in the end one person wanted to pay for one other but no that wasn’t accepted as if it was going on two credit cards which is allowed by the restaurant, it has to be an equal amount on both! Really in this digital world. After confronting this situation and with this situation already starting to put a cloud over the wonderful evening they agreed to do it. Now, I asked for US$120 to be put in my card which included the tip because in Australia that’s how I normally do it The slip came and then I had to sign it. Due to the fact it had a tip section I put a line through it as I had already included the tip in the amount. This was evident looking at my friends slip where the amount would have shown the bill having been paid in total along with a 20% tip. I’ve just got back to Australia to find that they’ve added more money to my American Express and charged the card US$156 !!! Of course I didn’t keep the receipt so being overseas I have difficulty proving this.. The whole drama of paying for our evening spoilt it completely and we left the restaurant in a rather sombre mood after what was meant to be a joyous occasion. So lesson is cash is best if you’re going to experience this restaurant but once bitten, personally I won’t be back. …

Great food and cozy and cool atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service is a hit or miss
