Can't go wrong with the Big John's had the Philly and man was it awesome also had things and there hands down THE BEST I've ever eaten And there roof top fries were Home run fast friendly service I highly recommend as I believe it's one of the premier places in the area

8/17 Update: Big John's is now located on 72 in The Open Bottle (I requested an hours and location change through Google.) Was glad to finally get to try them again! The Philly Cheesesteak was so delicious. So messy and delicious. It was definitely worth the wait! Definitely stop by the Open Bottle and give them another try. Can't beat the location. They have a great selection of beer and drinks to go with your delicious BBQ! If you ever find yourself if harvest and wanting some BBQ, Big John's should be your stop. It's connected to an Exxon gas station. It's on the right side and The Event Bar is on the left. (Another great place to eat, btw.) --- I got the rib combo plate. It comes with two sides. I got the Mac and cheese and coleslaw. I appreciate that the coleslaw states on the menu that it's vinager based. You never know what kind of slaw you are going to get at a bbq place and it stops the questioning by having it clearly stated. The ribs had a lot of flavor. They weren't exactly fall off the bone but the flavor was amazing. The Mac and cheese has super cheesy and creamy and the coleslaw was a classic vinegar based slaw. This was a delicious meal and I can't wait to come back and have more when I'm back in the area. Support this locally owned businesses. You won't regret it.

The BBQ is delicious, the sides are amazing, the Philly Cheese reminds me of home and NYC does it better than Philadelphia. Check it out, I promise you will not be disappointed

This gem of a restaurant should be known by everyone in the 256! Amazing food and customer service! As a first timer, I ordered the loaded fries, brisket sandwich, and the philly cheesesteak… WOW! 10/10 flavor, presentation, portions, everything about this food was off the charts! I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu, especially that red velvet cake ❤️

I have tried the catfish and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were excellent. I would definitely return and I highly recommend the food. Staff were also friendly and professional.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Big John’s. We ordered a pulled pork plate with hot bbq sauce and a Philly cheesesteak plate. I was amazed by how flavorful the pulled pork was and the hot bbq sauce IS ACTUALLY HOT which is exactly what I hoped for. The fries included were absolutely perfect. Definitely give them a try!
