The prices are on par with what you might find in a grocery store; but the quality is lower than what you'd find at Whole Foods or even Fairway. The fish doesn't look that appetizing (see photo) and the rice was not well seasoned and sort of gummy. Definitely worth paying a couple bucks more for real sushi at an actual restaurant.
Good quick affordable Japanese food.
간단히 먹기 좋은 곳, 6시이후인가? 일정시간뒤에는 세일!
I used to order a donburi every week, best donburis I ate in NYC. The service is pretty fast.
Yeah I guess pre-made sushi is same everywhere. Better eating at the actual sushi restaurant.
I found out about bento from the airport at jfk and I’ve been in love since, however we all know how over priced it is at the airport and I no longer work at the terminal with this shop…. So I found this bento that was a 20 minute drive I was pleased with the food tasted exactly how I expected it to but the issue now is if they have the sushi in stock, which it almost never is…. It’s a waste of time and disappointment driving over and see almost no sushi prepared at 2pm. I went in one time and asked if they would have any ready and I was told it was all sold out…. So I sent my friend in and they told him they can make it in 20 minutes…… to add, on the hours are not accurate at all sometimes they close at 5pm and it’s just all a mess.
Very cheap for Manhattan and quite fresh. For the price the food is pretty decent. The Asian lady at the counter is a sweetheart and always a joy to have her serve me.
Prepackaged sushi that is very heavy on the rice with thin cut fish. Tofu ramen with sweet tofu? Strange. Soggy gyoza w/o traditional sauce. Looked at me funny when I asked for 6 packets of soy sauce. Miso soup ok.
