Went to a happy hour here on a Friday and had a great time. Service, food, drinks, and atmosphere was on point. Definitely a great spot.

Sinigual is an upscale Mexican restaurant. It’s not your average Taqueria with funky art murals & Mexican music. It is rather elegant, spacious and has an off beat celestial themed decor. I like how they serve warm tortillas with lightly sweetened butter, and two salsas instead of your regular chips. The butter tortillas by itself taste delicious. The salsas are good too. We tried their tableside guacamole and it was just fine. For mains, I opted with their combo platter of taquitos and enchiladas which they served with rice, beans and sweet corn cake. Decent taste although mild on spices. (Get that extra hot sauce!) They serve sizeable portions so we ended up skipping desserts although some tempting menu options. The service was warm & fast. The bill was expensive but thanks to inKind we got a sweet deal. Try Sinigual for an impressive meal.

The restaurant is very spacious with a nice full bar. Drinks are good and not watered down. The fire roasted tomato soup was excellent, very flavorful and spicy. Pick any 3 options was a great choice, which offered tacos with beef, chicken, shrimp or other varieties. All came with rice and beans of course. Margarita with jalapeño and cucumber was excellent. Guac is made in front of you, so it’s super fresh, although it lacked in flavor and was somewhat dry in texture. Prices aren’t the cheapest but then you’re in a midtown area and again, restaurant had a lot of space which was great. They also have outdoor seating. We’ll be back.
