They microwaved my drip coffee.
They charge a lot for pathetic food and beverages. To get a plastic fork for your food, they WILL charge you. I wish a business on a campus would care about students.
The people working there are very kind, but there are many better places on campus to eat for so much less. They charge 8 dollars for sandwiches with single slices of cheese and meat, 5 dollars for dollar store muffins, and 10-15 dollars for salads. The drinks are similar with outrageous prices. They also will charge people for forks, cups, tap water, and ice (a couple dollars for any of them) and sometimes do not tell you they are extra until after they have given you extra forks, tqp water, etc. They are known to upcharge people without telling, and their register system asks for a tip every time (15, 20, and 30%) If you have a couple minutes to spare, any food place on campus has better food and cheaper prices
Caveat Emptor!!!!!!!!!! They are without a doubt lying about drink sizes. The large iced drink just cost me over $7 before tip and was supposed to be 24oz, according to the sign. They do not even have 24oz cups available. The largest they have is 20oz. They are lying and scamming every single person who goes in there. I strongly recommend going over to the Science building or the confluence building - you will pay less and you will get more. Heck, even the actual Starbucks is less expensive and they don’t lie to your face about sizing. How is this even allowed on campus?
Ordered a 24 oz cold sexy chai and got a hot one instead. Complained that it is not my order but was given an iced sexy chai at 16 oz instead. It seems completely intentional too as they had a conversation before moving it to a cold cup. Did I mention the drink cost 8 dollars? Don’t go here.
Great, quiet place to get work done.
Their menu makes no sense. Why is vanilla syrup more expensive than other syrups? Why is cappuccino more expensive than latte when it’s the same ingredients and basically the same process? Why aren’t their food items on the menu, so you have to go up to the counter to order a sandwich just to find out they’re charging $8 for the cheapest bread meat and cheese with nothing else. If you’re going there for coffee or nice baristas, this is the place. But the food and menu are so bad. Hot and iced drinks cost sometimes more than a dollar apart for the same size. It’s also kind of weird all semester I’ve only seen girls working there. That weird to anyone else?
Paid over $8 for a sandwich that didn't even have all the ingredients. The menu said ham, cheadder, lettuce and tomato. Definitely won't ever go back.
I've never had an issue with service, all of the staff have been responsive and friendly in my experience. Not to mention that their brewed coffee is easily the best on campus. Hope they open back up to serve coffee soon!
