We love this place- not pretentious and great-tasting food in a friendly atmosphere.

I know this might be controversial, but this place has better food than Cafe Colucci. The mesir wot is perfectly spicy, the injera is delectable, the portions are large, and the service is fast. We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! Definitely give this place a try. It's an underrated gem, and deserves more patronage!

Incredible. Best Ethiopian spot in Oakland. The doro wot and fish goulash keep us coming back.

OMG this was some of the BEST Ethiopian I’ve ever had. I also took my retired mom with me. She is pretty timid when it comes to trying new cuisine but she fell in love with everything we tried! Bonus, the injera bread is gluten free so anyone with an allergy doesn’t have to worry. Highly recommend!!

So amazing I haven’t been here in years after moving out of state. Just had it again and it’s better than I remember.
