Beautiful rooftop bar. Excellent views of Orlando. Great service.
My friend and I visited the AC Skybar Orlando for brunch between 1:30pm and 3:00pm on 01/28/24, hoping for a delightful experience. While the food was decent, there were some notable shortcomings that prevented us from fully enjoying our time. We initially chose to sit in the outdoor area, but unfortunately, it lacked cleanliness, and we were left unattended by waitstaff. After relocating inside, we had to flag down someone to clean our table, which was a bit off-putting. Another issue arose when Marriott attempted to authorize $70 on my card for the tab, which I found unnecessary since my friend and I were splitting the bill. This process felt inconvenient and unnecessary. Regarding the food, while the Tortilla Española Omelette and Caprese sandwich were flavorful, the portion sizes were underwhelming given the price. My friend's chicken and waffles and Caprese sandwich were similarly enjoyable but didn't exceed expectations. One of the highlights should have been the bottomless mimosas, but unfortunately, it was difficult to take advantage of this offer as our server was hard to flag down for refills. It would have been beneficial for them to have dedicated staff regularly refilling glasses. Overall, our experience at AC Skybar Orlando was just okay. Given that it's part of a newer Marriott hotel, we expected a bit more in terms of service and ambiance. While the food was satisfactory, the lack of attention to detail and inconsistent service left us wanting more.
Fernando was the best!! Will go back just to see him.
Great happy hour. Downtown Orlando views and well prepared drinks. Firepits add to coziness.
Amazing atmosphere, and most delicious food I ever had! Life music was very good. Really recommend "Roasted local salmon"!
Super nice! Excellent service and great food
When we first arrived there was a guest eating and he told us good luck on ordering as the bar tender was speaking to a woman for the last 10 minutes and not paying attention to anyone. He asked for his bill no answer. Another employee walked by he asked her she handled it. We waited about 10 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. Btw it wasn’t busy at all….. not counting us only 4 others At the bar. We asked for two old fashions smoked and the bartender didn’t seal the drinks as he left the stick with the garnishes in the glass preventing a proper smoke. Then the drinks were un even. It didn’t taste good either for $20 drinks I expect it to taste somewhat decent. This is a one and done for me to never return.
This bar is situated high above downtown Orlando at the top of a skyscraper where you can see all the beauty of the city. The Long Island ice tea I ordered was made well and the beer selection was excellent. All the bar tenders and service was attentive and friendly. A great social atmosphere for all.
We dined here for brunch on a Sunday. It feels very much like a lobby bar but on the 18th floor! The hotel check-in area is within the area. There are sofas and comfortable seating. We started with the Sangrias - 1 red, one white. The red was fruity and the Prosecco added a nice zing. The white was apple and not too sweet. I had the steak and eggs- the steak was a really nice size, and prepared properly at medium rare. The eggs were fine, and the fried potatoes were also fine. My daughter ordered the Benedict that had prosciutto bacon - she really enjoyed the change of pace from Canadian bacon. Age very much enjoyed it. Everything was above average, but nothing I could say was 5 stars. We do recommend.
