We walked in with high expectations and they were blown away! Everything done to perfection. I cannot wait to return!
Met up with workmates for a lunch here. Initially confused as couldn’t figure out how to order the food as the restaurant location is actually inside Foxtail coffee. Also heaps of barstools and my personal preference is for a proper table and chair. Got The Plate, the chicken biscuit, curly fries and potato salad. Really enjoyed the food. The smokiness of the chicken and then the fried crust was super tasty. Loved all the components of the plate, with the scrambled eggs being a stand-out. Nice place overall - glad got a chance to try it out!
Good food Kid-friendliness: Semi kid friendly. Able to modify a couple things to fit our finicky eaters
One day after living in the Milk District neighborhood for a few months, I finally got to visit the Milk House. Even before I knew Chef Zach Baughman became a cook there, I heard they had really unique and tasty food, but now he really helps knock the food out of the park there. My boyfriend and I both decided to try the falafel wraps and homemade chips, and we sat there enjoying just being there because the servers, the atmosphere, and the food are all truly on-point!
Very popular place. Feel like a coffee shop but actually serves good food too.
Yesterday I went with my husband and kids for the first time to Milkhouse location. The food was good, we ordered burgers and they were very tasty… However, the waitress that received us was kind of rude. We brought in food from another place for the kids since we weren’t sure they had a kids menu (some of this type of restaurants don’t) so we went ahead and bought something for them. We weren’t even completely seated it when the waitress told us we weren’t allowed to bring food from another place but that it was ok for us to stay, for this time. Now, the problem wasn’t what she said, I can understand the rules, but the way she said it. I think she could have addressed the issue a lot better. Usually, one of the first things they asked you before they take your order is if is your first time visiting. She should have been more polite… I don’t even know her name because she didn’t even told us. After that, it was just weird service. We felt a little rushed to order when there was no need, we arrived around 6:00 pm and they closed at 10 pm. Definitely staff needs to be better trained. Also, a suggestion …. (not sure If it is but I didn’t see it) kids menu should be on the menu, on social media or at least on the website so the families know you offer it! Thanks!
