5280 Burger Bar

This place was pretty cool. I enjoyed a solid Burger. The atmosphere is really nice and our server was extremely attentive.

Food was just not good. The burgers had no flavor except salt. Chili was extremely salty. Fries were overly salty. I couldn’t finish my food. Probably a good spot if you want drinks and appetizers, but super don’t recommend the burgers at all.

Wow! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I came in with a group of 40, mostly high school students. Nathaniel, Maraam, Megan and Nicole took great care of us. They were attentive, patient and fast! Our food came out in waves and everyone was served in a timely manner. They servers made sure the drinks were filled and any other request was greeted with a smile. Kudos to this staff!!!

After eating my lunch today at 5280, I was assaulted on 16th street. While waiting for police to arrive, I went back to 5280 to get some water. I was still in shock, and my hands were shaking. I had just sat down and was drinking water, not looking at anyone or talking to anyone. The bar tender kicked me out. He claimed I was making people uncomfortable. He told me to leave or he would call security.

I sat at the bar and was served an amazing black & blue burger with fries, recommended by a bartender BJ. Great service, great food!! And right next door is ice cream which is my weakness so I indulged in some of the creamiest ice cream ever.

Went here two years ago, went again today. Since then the food quality has gone down. Server was nice however the food was missing flavor, the burgers have gotten smaller. Menu was dirty, light fixtures at the booth were dirty. Paying almost $100 for a couple burgers was definitely not worth it. A lot of improvement needed here.

Update: Unfortunately, my old review is no longer accurate. This place is no longer our go-to burger restaurant. We have been back 3 times or so past year, and each time was worse than the last. They always mess up the order even if they are not busy at all and the quality of the food have gone down significantly. During our last visit, we ordered the special burger, which was a truffle burger and smoked tomato sauce. We did not taste any truffle or smoke flavor or any kind of flavor, to be honest. Everything we ordered had no flavor and was very bland. Also, we mentioned several times that we like our burgers well done because I can't eat it if it's pink and all of our burgers came out rare and I mean very rare. We asked for over easy eggs on all of our burgers, and all came out with very crispy white and hard yorks. The loaded fries had barely anything on top of it and had no taste. We had to ask for salt and pepper. The truffle fries had no flavor at all, and when I asked for some truffle sauce, they brought me ranch. We ended up asking for some mayo and ketchup and salt and pepper to give our food some flavor. I'm sorry to say but I believe this was our last visit. Since our last photos are no longer accurate, I will be deleting them. O my god, yes, pleaseeeeeee . We haven't been here for a while, and I'm not sure why? We loved all the options and flavor combinations on the menu. I remember they had more burger options and unfortunately My favorite was no longer on the menu but I found a new favorite. double bypass was my absolute favorite. We actually ordered Quadruple bypass just for fun. They use very high quality meat and it shows. I eat welldone meat and even the welldone was very juicy and delicious. We also loved that they have the I can't decide option ( perfect for me because I can never decide hahaha) and you can order 2 burgers of the menu and they serve it as 2 jumbo sliders. If you want to try more than one burger here this is your best choice. Overall our experience was fun and delicious here and I can not wait to go back.

Just got off the phone with one of the managers at 5280 Burger Bar asking about a coupon I got at one of the hotels downtown. It says “BUY 1 BURGER GET 1 ON US” and then there’s a QR code on the promotional card directing you to “Place Your To-Go, Pick Up or Delivery Order”. The MOD said “all our coupons are for dine-in only,” yet nowhere on the coupon does it say that. But it does offer you the option to place an order online? I mentioned this to him and all I got was a dry “Yup”. Know what you’re promoting. Improve on your people skills, Manager. Called back to ask for his name and the host didn’t know which one of the three male managers it was. She was sweet and apologetic. He was lame.
