Если решил быстро, но очень вкусно и полезно перекусить, то это именно тот ресторанчик!
Very traditional and authentic Japanese cuisine served in a classic traditional setting. Most importantly the raw fish was extremely fresh and authentically sourced and prepared. They’d a raw octopus appetizer which was delicate and delicious, the sweet shrimp was super sweet, and the baby yellowtail was like butter. The uni from Maine was more like sweet Japanese uni and better tasting than San Diego uni. The hamachi kama was a treat and huge. This is as good as best sushi in Tokyo and very fresh and authentic, yet unbeatable prices especially for Boston.
I loved the decoration and the food was amazing!
Very good option for a last minute place to eat. Their uni was little odd-tasting, but the rest of their sushi was very good (even though theres a bit of a wait) Bonus points from the service team for giivng a ginger ale on the house
I went there with a 9-month old and a friend. Baby pooped and I asked if there is a changing table in the bathroom. The response I got from a server is “We don’t have a changing table. We are not a mall”. I was shocked to hear that. I said “Most restaurants have changing tables”. She said “Not every restaurant does”. I said “You are the only restaurant I’ve been to that doesn’t have one”. And one other server said “Wen’s noodle doesn’t have”. I was again shocked and I have never been back to Wen’s noodles since I had the baby. I will not go back to Zen either.
