The only place that has stir fired ice cake 大救駕 so far among all the yunnan places I’ve been in the states. Thanks for comforting my stomach, genuinely
I’d have to say that Yunnan Kitchen is probably one of the best Chinese food spots within the area. Whether you dine in or take out, service is impeccable. Food portions are large enough to share and is very good quality. I dined out recently closer to closing and had such a pleasant experience. They were very accommodating as I told them I had guests with me. Even added cute drawings on my take out. The jalapeño spicy beef udon would be my top pick.
My girlfriend and I ordered takeout. My beef and broccoli was inedible, the beef was nearly grey and covered in what seemed like some weird fatty sauce. My girlfriend got vegetable fried rice that promised to have at least six different kinds of vegetables in it. What she got was just rice and bean sprouts. Absolutely ridiculous.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Very rude service
Nice food, mostly spicy, but some can be made not spicy.
Great authentic Chinese food. We ordered yongping braised chicken, boiled fish filet in chili oil, and dali fried mushroom. All were much better than expected. Among the three, the chicken was the best; chewy but soft inside (there are huge chunk of ginger, be careful). The chicken can be bit salty, so I would recommend it with rice. Service was not exceptional, but good enough that we can enjoy the meal. The only downside would be the atmosphere. The building and furniture were outdated, and it would be much appealing to customers if they renovate the interior. Parking: Use the 2hr street parking in front of the building
