Yum Yum Donuts

Everything I have had there has been delicious. I have lived in Oak Park for 23 years. Gone here quite often.

I ordered an old fashioned doughnut and then I saw this cake like item with a pineapple ring and cherry. I asked what it was, she said bread pudding. Okay! Looks good. My total was just under $5. That bread pudding is not good, in my opinion. It taste doughy. The top was decent, especially with the pineapple. I tried it fresh and let it sit in the fridge, thinking that might help it. Nope. The old fashioned is my favorite doughnut but not from yum yums. The texture is not the same as a normal old fashioned. That's the reason why I love them. This just wasn't it. It was also the sweetest O.F. I've ever had. Oy. The people that work there were nice. It does suck to also go to an establishment with someone asking for money right outside the door.

Yes yum yum donuts suck the website says open 24 hours so as my friend & I proceed to drive from Mac Rd all the way to 12th Ave @ Franklin Blvd the open sign on and bright as hell the guy inside tell 4hrs until open what kinda B.S is that

Some of the best donuts I've had in a long time.
