I always have mixed emotions about shows at Yoshi's. On the one hand I love the intimate setting it provides. The lighting is sexy and the room is certainly not too small. One the other hand, the sound system, I feel, is usually a little off. The vocalist can tend to be muffled by the music do as not to be able to make out the lyrics. Last night with Dwele was no exception to those statements. As far as service is concerned, the bottle I ordered, before everyone was even seated, didn't come out til 1/3 of the way thru the musical set and that was after everyone else's single drinks were served. That was disappointing. However, as Yoshi's tends to bring the type of acts conducive to a romantic evening out, I will continue to partake in their ambience. THERE IS A ONE ITEM MINIMUM, EVEN IF YOU EAT IN THE RESTAURANT.
