Yan Peninsula (知味轩)

I love their truffle duck. My fave there. Every dish is a delight to the palette. I keep going back.

Tasty authentic Chinese food! The Chinese cauliflower dish, steamed chicken, and beef with broccoli and egg tofu were all very nice.

Super crowded dim sum place, especially on weekends. I thought the food was decent but there are better spots elsewhere in SF

Spacious dining room, good food, great service. Parking: Limited space in the parking lot during busy times.

All the dim sum items we ordered & tried were good. Especially the house special shrimp siu mai. The house special BBQ pork buns were very good also. Overall thumbs up. Parking: The free lot can fill up fairly quickly. We were there at 10:30 & there were no spaces in the lot. We ended up parking on the street where there were plenty of spaces.

Best Cantonese cuisine in the SF Bay Area. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared and generously portioned. The garlic pea sprouts are a must to eat at this restaurant. All the dim sum dishes are mouthwatering delicious, especially the buns and lava buns; be extra careful biting into them when they are hot. Be even more extra careful NOT to over eat!!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide great service through smiles and kind words and gestures. The restaurant is a bit crowded, during rush hours for both lunch and dinner even though the tables and chairs are nicely spaced, but it’s expected when the food is so GOOD. Vegetarian options: The garlic pea sprouts are our favorite for everyone in our group, the vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
