I am very surprised to find this new spot in Japan town. It was newly remodeled and with new business so I decided to give it a try. This is probably the best Yakitori lunch set place in town. Chicken is tender and juicy. It was served in the right timing. They have pot rice mix with veges which is really special and pair with chicken soup. I will come back again! The sauce did not mix with corn starch. It’s a Japanese style teriyaki sauce. Love it! This is authentic place to enjoy Japanese style Yakitori.
Fantastic value for a-la carte menu, everything was good, about half of what I ordered was outstanding. Need to revisit with the family for a proper review
Food and service was good! Enjoyed the experience... until I got hit with a surprise fee on the check. Was the tacky and political "SF mandate" really worth it?
Everything tasted great. Kara age chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. Paired well with draft beers. May be the AC a bit strong the skews were not enough temperature. Only the chicken heart skew had a bit more temperature since it was delivered to our table right away. It would be a five star if skews were hotter. Staff was friendly and clean modern interior.
Great addition to the mall and very solid yakitori. Wait was long but there’s enough to do around the restaurant, service was quick and friendly. We loved the meatball, chicken thigh with leek, mushrooms, chicken wing skewers, and karaage (which is usually average but was fantastic here). The salmon was good but a little plain.
It's in Japantown, we went here Sunday dinner around 6, the place already has a long line, but the server seated us immediately. We had high expectation because of the high reviews, but the food is just ok. We ordered the set menu and some other items not on the set menu. The patitan soup is good, it's more like Ramen soup, which I really want to order noodle if they have any. The yakitori we sure it's using good quality of meat, but it's somehow doesn't taste like any yakitori, no charcol flovor or yakitori sauce flavor at all, which is kinda disappointed, not sure if they pre-cook somehow and warm(?) it using the grill, because we notice they serve the yakitori relatively much faster than other yakitori place, and that's why they don't have enough grilled flavors. Anyhow the service is quick and nice, price is not that bad, but I don't think I will wait hours for this place.
