Xochimex Cantina Grill

Xochimex does a great job… Of furthering the stereotype that Miami doesn’t have any decent Mexican food. We walked in and the place was almost completely empty. The ordering process was awkward at best . The woman (and what seemed like her son) behind the counter appeared to have just started there 5 minutes ago and had very little idea what was going on. I asked if they had corn tortillas and you would have thought I asked them for the meaning of life. The chicken was bland, the guacamole was like an avocado smoothie, and the tortillas were the opposite of fresh. They played horrible Reggaeton videos off of YouTube. Tried to order a Mexican coke which was listed on the menu and they looked at us like we were in Greece. Apparently they don’t do that there The fact this place is a chain is astounding. Xochimex has spread through this community similar to a virus and honestly I’m so relieved I didn’t get food poisoning because the ambiance of the place made me feel like that was extremely possible. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Also, any place that parades as a Mexican establishment that doesn’t have Horchata should be banned on general principle.

I've been a loyal customer of Cantina and have always had wonderful experiences there, thanks to the delicious food and the friendly staff. However, during my recent visit today, I witnessed an unfortunate incident where the staff was treated poorly by some unruly customers. Despite this, the manager, remained composed and handled the situation admirably. It saddened me to see such mistreatment, but I still appreciate the excellent service and food at cantina. I hope this was an isolated incident, and the management continues to support their staff through challenging situations.

Zero customer service. The manager has a very bad attitude. I went with my mom and she is allergic to spicy we asked first and the manager told us nothing is spicy. When my mom tried the food the food was spicy and we told her the issue and she tell us to wait. We had to wait more than 15 min because it was a line of people. This is zero customer service, and then we ask for the money back and she told us no and that we still have to wait because there were more people in line. This is ridiculous , first of all you need to be fire since you don’t have the experience not even the professionalism to work with customer. Do not go here, the food is very spicy if you have a medical condition do not go here.

I love the food in this place. Tastes great and portions are huge. What upsets me about this particular location is they can’t figure out their hours of operation. Google says 9pm. The door says 10pm. And I’ve arrived twice before 8:30 and their employees have door locked saying they close at 8. Frustrating.

The manager is a mess. Bad customer service. Do not go here

Amazing quesadillas! My boyfriend and I come here every now and then for our lunch break. Sad to see you guys closed it down.

Food order was incorrect (ordered a steak burrito and it came as a bowl, no wrap). It was also quite disgusting I only had a few bites, there’s a nasty bitter taste, and the meat looked horrible too.

Un lugar excelente para cumplirse un antojito. Muy agradable y muy buena comida. Lo recomiendo tanto para glotonea como para los de paladar exquisito.
