We were a little wary of the bad reviews, but the place had a lively and welcoming vibe when we first walked in. We ordered garlic and herb wings with tator tots and they were delicious, we absolutely devoured them. juicey and flavorful. Only one star off of the atmosphere specifically because our table was pretty sticky. Bartender had great banter with the guests and was also our waiter and despite it being pretty busy, he was very attentive. Great 80s rock playing and setting a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back with some friends!
They had no pizza or dessert why have them on the menu. And then tator tots were burn they need to work on the food
Came in to eat on a Sunday evening. There were two other tables seated when we got there, bar was pretty packed. After an hour, 1 table got their food, and the other got bored and walked out after we heard them say "we've been here over an hour." Another 30ish minutes later, so after waiting 1.5 hours, we got our food. The food was pretty solid, 3 out of 5, but that hour and a half plus was a pretty wild amount of time to wait for 6 wings, a sandwich, and two orders of fries. They did give us the wings that were supposed to go to the table that left after an hour for free, and I guess that counts for something.
Definitely a hidden gem, the burgers here are outstanding. Very good chicken sandwiches and wings too. My only complaint is that they never have waffles to go with the chicken and waffles so ive yet to try it. Sauces made in house and everything is made fresh. Service is a little slow but always very friendly. The patrons never cease to make me feel at home here, which is saying something because its a bar and i dont drink.
Came on a Thursday with colleagues/ friends. Had a blast and the DJ was great playing danceable tejano and great 80's beats. I was outdanced by some older ladies!! My mom loves to dance, so thinking of taking her soon!! Take yours too!! Oh, the shrimp salad was great!
Wicked wings located on Slaughter and South 1st. It’s a great spot to enjoy tasty wings and a few cold beers. The owner Rob has successfully created an environment that’s fun and inviting. When I’m there it feels like family. Wicked wings is the real deal it’s slowly become one of my favorite places to eat and it’s conveniently located near my house. Zach and Matt do an excellent job with the food. I encourage people to give wicked wings a try. They will earn your business .
