I came here due to a recommendation from a friend. The spicy dumplings are good, but are not spicy. I wish they had more od a kick. Besides that, they are really good and they give you a good portion for the price. I would go back, but I ask to make them spicier.
I was recommended this place for must try wontons in Flushing and was very underwhelmed. Their famous wontons in hot chili sauce almost tasted like there was no filling at all and like a dough ball of layers of wrapping. I didn’t care for it and probably won’t be coming back with all the other amazing eats throughout flushing. That said, the staff was very quick and if you want to try it for yourself just know it’s a cash only establishment.
overpriced and overrated (recently increased prices) but their spicy wontons were pretty good. the noodles, however, were pretty cold and not that flavorful.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at White Bear in Flushing, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Flushing, this unassuming gem offers a culinary journey that exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the dumplings at White Bear are a true culinary masterpiece. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the delicate balance of seasonings and fillings left me craving more. The signature wontons in spicy sauce were a standout, perfectly complemented by the tangy yet amazing food.
Very good dumplings! I got the number 6 but it is overpriced now because of the hype and popularity. it is worth the try but I wouldn’t pay $10 for a small portion again
I made the trip from Manhattan to this try this place out and boy, was it worth it. I ordered the Number 6 special: dumplings with hot paste. The lady quickly handed me my food not long after I paid from the pick-up window. It was phenomenal. Each bite was bursting with flavors and spices dancing around inside my mouth in pure harmony. If you’re in the city, don’t skip on this place.
Excited to try number 6 but honestly it was not flavorful. It was bland. Would not try it again. I think I had better Wontons and chili from yard house. SMH. Do not believe the Tik Tok hype
