Wish I could give 0 stars. Entire staff you can see hates there job. Worst Wendy's I've ever been into. Got cheese burger only. Manager said aggressively I told her meal. 3 times nicely I said just cheese burger. Had cheddar cheese. No american cheese. Like 3 strands of cheese. Such a sad end to a chain that's been around for ever. Dave Thomas would Kill this franchisee. Bathroom flooded. No one at this store is even worth giving a job to. THE EMPLOYEES SHOULD ALL BE FIRED. No napkins anywhere to be found CLOSE THIS STORE OR WATCH THE VIDEO CAMERS AND SEE WHY THIS LOCATION IS SO BAD.
I really love their breakfast and I normally receive decent service, what I call acceptable nowadays, because let's face it, nothing is the way it used to be. This visit with the one particular woman was just plain rude. I spoke to her and asked her how her day was going so far, she did not reply. She then says something, but it was so fast and low, I couldn't understand her. I just replied that I had a mobile order with a smile on my face, (I have worked customer service for 30 years and totally understand it's not the easiest job) however, this woman looked at the screen and poured my coffee, sat it on the counter with packets of sugar on top. I politely advised her that I actually ordered artificial sweetener because I can't have the sugar. This woman then ROLLED HER EYES AND CLICKED HER TEETH, as if I had just insulted her. She looks around and said, "just get it out there because I don't see any here!" I smiled and said no problem. She then made the driveway order and I noticed she just handed it at the window and didn't say a word to them either as she slammed the window shut. She then makes my sandwich, throws it in the bag and sat it on the counter and walks away. I smiled and said I hope she has a really good day. .....(crickets) She turned her back to me and went to the back. I only saw one other woman in the back and no there workers. There was a homeless man asleep in the lobby. Listen, we all have bad days and I know it's hard to be one of two employees on a job she probably hates, but needs. I want to extend grace to her because maybe she's a single Mom who is exhausted, maybe she just got some bad news, or maybe she's just rude to certain people, but it's not rocket science to smile and be polite. Even if you can't smile, just acknowledging and speaking would be favorable. Wendy's, please teach your employees some basic customer service and have someone who is responsible there monitoring employees to ensure compliance. Pay them a tad more if necessary, give them free meals on break, most of all give them encouragement daily. Motivate them. It starts with leadership. I did not get the lady's name but she was a beautiful black women with gold natural hair shaved close to her scalp. I can only imagine how this gorgeous goddess would look with a smile on face.
