Joanne is an AMAZING associate and I come to this location because I know that I will always get great service, especially when she's working. Joanne helped me get the app and went above and beyond to show me how to get the most out of my points. She's a true asset to this location and you don't always find employees like this everywhere, in my opinion. The tuna melt sandwiches are the best you will find anywhere, and their food and coffee is top notch. Also, try their shakes.. yummm. The store is always clean and everyone is helpful there. I go eat at WAWA rather than get fast food, because their food is better. Good prices on stuff you need in a hurry, like milk. As someone who works in customer service, I know how it can be. But you can tell the employees here care about you when you come in. Best place to get gas, food, and meals! Vegetarian options: Lots of salads and made to order options
You guys changed the ordering systems and got rid of the bacon ranch breaded chicken wraps that was bundled together. The snack wraps for them exist for 2.49. But you cheap scums want $8 to get add bacon and ranch to what originally was 5.99
I had previously posted a raving review for this location, which had great staff and always put out great food. Today, after numerous issues, I'm changing this review. I'm not sure what happened at this Wawa, but about a year ago it started to go downhill. Weird staff who were unfriendly were kept but it seems they fired or otherwise had all of their good staff quit. With this came the inevitable dirty bathrooms, unclean drink stations (I shouldn't stick to the floor I'm the soda area nor should be there boxes all over the coffee areas at the 6-7am rush hour). I once came to this store daily, now it has been a last resort. Staff doesn't greet you anymore, there seems to be one or two of the old staff left who seem exasperated at the giggling young people "working" with them. If it isn't John or Alma taking care of you, don't expect a good result. Tonight we ordered dinner from the store because I really just wanted a smoothie and a biscuit. The biscuit was a sad excuse of a floury dough ball and didn't even have the butter I ordered on, around, or even walked past it. The other food ordered was cold and seemed old. We didn't realize this until getting home, and really it wasn't worth it to go back because what good would it do to complain to employees who clearly care more about the conversations they're having on their headsets rather than customer service and experience. How the mighty have fallen - I'm going the extra mile or so to Racetrac from here on out (at least as far as this location is concerned)
The old lady working in the kitchen on 3-27-24 around 12:35pm scolded me about reaching to pick up my own food that i paid for, when I’ve been doing that for months (I’m not going to wait around til someone asks me what i ordered when they are busy in the kitchen), that’s why I order online - grab & go - as a regular this is a disappointment, everyone else there is friendly, and nice. Her negativity ruined my day, hopefully won’t see her there again, she really shouldn’t be working in service with that attitude.
Wawa doesn't give enough hours for adults to work here.
