Food was subpar. No seasoning. Salad had one cucumber slice and one tomato WTH, iceberg lettuce, no croutons and that roll thing they brought was yuck. My sweet potato was at best a silver dollar size how did it even make it out the window onto my table. Come on! This was this locals first time there and my last $59 plus tip spent on a special occasion and the best thing about the meal was the frozen mozzarella the sauce for those was even watery and thin. This must work for the people who visit during season but not for me or mine. Waste of time and money. Check you food quality! Ready for the response !
Twelve of us went for dinner and it was a great experience. One thing ! We changed our arrival time a couple of days early when it was discovered that they had a Early Bird menu. It was a very good deal! We had one server, but she had a couple of helpers. They we're good, but she was awesome. I hope the restaurant realizes what a gem they had.
There is not much my family can say that is positive about our dining experience. It started with undercooked rolls, which were microwaved to heat them up. The salad I was served looked as if it had been sitting out since mid afternoon. The fries were not hot, the fish which is advertised as fresh had a strong fishy taste to it. The service was nice. But I can not recommend this restaurant.
Very disappointed in the service. The fish I had was good. Before ordering I told the waitress I had a soy allergy. She said no problem. She brought me olive oil for my salad but no vinegar. When my meal came there was Tatar sauce on my plate. That has soy. I ordered mushrooms and onions on the side which is extra. When it arrived I asked if she checked for soy. She did not and found later found out it was made with soy oil. Good thing I did not eat it. I asked her to take it back and she offered it to our table. When I got my bill I found she charged me for it. When I asked her to please take it off my bill she got short with me and said she will speak to her manager. She took it off my bill but was not nice about it. I don’t know if she ever asked the chef to be careful with my meal but it was a good thing I was careful. Very disappointed
Please read the review below and then the manager's respond below my review. The manager is offering to bribe you with cheesecake instead of fixing the problem. The problem being that they DO NOT value their customers and will bribe you to better his reviews. He is saying that items I am allergic to were not on my plate. But yet they were served to me. Before coming to Waterfrontoo, I called asking if I would have a problem eating there with my food allergy. I was assured they were very careful about food allergies, and yes, come. When I ordered I mention numerous times to the server of my allergy and asked to check with her chef to make sure I could eat the items served to me. When I got my meal and side dishes, I again asked to check if I could eat them. She came back saying both sides contained ingredients I am allergic to. In many restaurants the staff takes very good care of allergy issues. Waterfrontoo does not worry that you could end up in the emergency room or worse. The manager's response was upsetting to me. He thought the waitress made a mistake? How many mistakes? The Chef made a mistake? If I ate their mistakes I could have been extremely sick. Yes, I can forgive the tartar sauce but my side dish, No. All I'm saying is that many of us have food allergies. We like to eat out. Please don't make it impossible and dangerous for us.
