Food was amazing! Very delicious. However half of the dining room is closed off, so seating is limited. Also we could hear the staff yelling and arguing with each other in the kitchen when they opened the door. People were looking to see what was going on. Lots of attitude from the employees today. Kinda ruined the whole experience when the staff are fighting in such a way that customers can hear you. Got out of there as quick as we could.

Went there at 2:15 the place is supposed to be open at three manager is extremely rude and so was the staff basically threw us out of the place managed learn some proper customer service etiquette. If I was the owner, I would terminate ASAP.

TERRIBLE! Last thing you want to do is go to this place hungry, because you’ll leave stressed! The wait to sit was quick BUT the wait to communicate with you and to actually eat your food was awful. It took them about 30 minutes to let us know that they didn’t have fish after we had placed our order. It took them about an hour and 15 mins to give us our order and I quickly became disappointed with their Hamburger Steak because it tasted like those $3 frozen meals you buy at Walmart. To TOP IT ALL OFF, the workers were distracted because of some drama happening among them and they couldn’t be discreet about it as they continued to gather to talk about the issue that had just happened with one of their coworkers AND THEN one of the cooks who called himself the “boss” scolded one of the workers right in front of us because it turned out that there was in fact fish in stock. Very unprofessional and an unpleasant place to go too!

The food is not what it use to be not fresh sloppy plating and my mom got sick the last 2 times

Waffle was undercooked, chicken was overcooked, not enough chicken, service was pretty rough. Nice atmosphere but probably wont be back

Been coming here for over 15 years. We usually enjoy breakfast and have a great time. Our last visit we waited for 45 minutes to only be told the kitchen has stopped accepting orders. We left and went to ihop. Decided to give it one more try this weekend. Patiently waited for 25 minutes only to experience the worst service and food. My pork chop was burnt all around the edges. Our server never bothered to check up on us to ask how the food was. I had to get up and ask for more napkins. I had to ask another employee passing by for waters. My husband asked another staff member for a drink refill. Just beyond disappointed and will be taking a break from visiting. Eating out in today's economy is a luxury. There are way too many options for this kind of failure in service and customer experience.

It was horrible experience there was 9 of us they where out of everything we tried to order apple juice orange juice and other things server was ok but being out of everything was not on his best part the hostess was rude here was hardly anyone there we drove all the way from homestead to go to this wonderful place the food was completely cold every bit of it

If you love real southern food this is your spot. This is the only restaurant in the area with southern food like this.
