Vegan poke! My husband and I got introduced to this place when they had a promotion for plant based tuna, tasted legit if I remember it correctly, lol (see the attached pictures)! They also have other 3 vegan poke options and we are looking forward to come back and try more!

Came in this afternoon and the whole experience was great. The staff working were super attentive and kind. While they had limited fish available today- my dish was delicious. Look forward to coming back and hope to keep seeing smiling faces behind the counter.

Miserably bad. Should have believed the reviews mentioning the conspicuous lack of any fish! Ordered for delivery a $18 Medium bowl, received a tiny amount of 1/2" cubes of fish...maybe 10 total, which in no way equals a typical Medium size poke. Most definitely doesn't match the website pics. And cold rice, which was 90% of the bowl.

I ordered dinner and placed the order at 7:29 pm through their website. I got a text message that my order would be ready at 7:45 pm. I walked to the restaurant and it was closed. There is a sign on the door printed on computer paper that read “closed at 7:30 pm.” Not sure why their online system allowed me to place the order or website says they are open. I was charged $20 for my meal that was never made.

I'm sitting here at home eating a Makai bowl, or box really. It's a lot of food, sufficient amount to fill the box in layers, and plenty of fresh-tasting fish. The flavors are well-balanced, the ingredients all taste fresh, the rice is room temp. It's a very good poke bowl. I just returned from a couple weeks on Kauai. We, naturally, ate quite a bit of poke from very good fish shops around the island. The Walking Fish bowl is similar in portion size and price to the places in Hawaii, and the poke is as good as some, better than others. Two scoops and a few extras and your poke bowl is pushing $20, same as WF. (They should have named it Walking The Fish) Yes, they don't have 4 kinds of octopus, squid salad, smoked mahi mahi, miso prawns, or the cornucopia of seafood options you'll find in the typical Hawaiian poke spot. If they did, I'd have to question the freshness. And who does on the mainland? Prices are up all over, in all restaurants and cafes, and the grocery store, everywhere. We're lucky to have Walking Fish as a neighborhood poke option.
