You guys! The staff was amazing! I was the only one coming in to the place at 12:40 am 04/12/24. This waitress was pleasant. Very nice! And the cook! He made me feel like I was eating at his home. The staff was engaged and professional I sat at the counter. I loved my experience! And to the gentleman who had to repark his mini van 5 times before he came in you all right too!
There are 3 waffle houses very close to our home, but this one is our favorite! The staff are super friendly and the food is always top notch

You blew it on Valentine’s Day, Waffle House. We made reservations and specifically asked for the wheelchair access at the front bar. After being told we were the second party to make reservations, we were assured the space would be reserved. Repeatedly. As we were getting out of the car, I watched a waitress seat people in Said reserved spot. Where was I “parked” in my wheelchair? Up against the filthy refrigerator in the back corner. What’s worse there was long black hair on the counter in front of my placemat. There was tape hanging off the refrigerator along with dust, grime and stains. That’s what I looked at during my entire meal. Everytime the refrigerator door was opened by the wait staff, the plastic menus would fall over. No one picked them up, no one apologized. Not one person can say they didn’t know I was unhappy. It wasn’t until I had a chat with the district mgr at the end of our meal that I had an opportunity to voice my disappointment. And, that was after I asked him to clean up the hair in front of my placemat. Yes, I get it’s Waffle House, and we love to go there. However, put yourself in my chair for just a moment. After 25 years of being my own advocate in public, I can’t just stay quiet. We made the effort, but we weren’t met in the middle. Therefore, I felt no motivation to make the situation go away for them. Stop staring at me, and do better. That’s what they all did until I made eye contact. They stared. Were you feeling pity or were you praying I wouldn’t complain? My money is just as good and I deserve the same respect as any other customer regardless of how busy you are. We’re Sunday regulars at the Bauer Rd. location. I do feel confident that if Derrick or the two servers we usually see had been there, this would have never happened. If only I had taken photos. You would have been disgusted, too. Wheelchair accessibility: Pitiful tonight. Do better, Waffle House. It’s 2024.
Update….breakfast is still great here. Service and food quality continue to be top notch. Tori, our server, was great!!! Even after Sally devastated the area this Waffle House was back up and providing great meals. Went for lunch and found it a bit busy but wait was minimal. Ashley was my server and she did a great job taking the order and making sure I was a happy customer. Food was hot and delicious and on the table quickly after she placed the order. Due to the local conditions the menu was limited but still plenty of great choices. Despite this, food was tasty and filling. Highly recommend this Waffle House. Kudos to the staff and management. Great job!!!
