OMG. I ordered a Swedish princess cake and they made me the most beautiful cake I've seen. So carefully designed, put together and perfect taste and flavor and texture. Perfect amount of each almond, cream, custard, sponge cake and rasberry that makes a swedish pricess cake what it is. And the most beautiful design of cream roses. Brought a tear to my eye because it made my Birthday that much more special. The best Princess cake I've tasted. Thank you!

I have loved Village bakery thru their various locations and thru the years. the coffee is always good and consistent, i have actual dreams about their hand pies (both veggie and the meat) becausethey are so delicious, its a spiritual experience to eat their cardamom rolls, and on top of that *all* their goods are beautiful too. the absolute only reason I'm giving 1 less star is because the hours are inconsistent. i know this is an often common thing for bakeries, but I've made the trip numerous times only to see they have closed early. no complaints exactly, I'm just recommending that you might want to call ahead if it's a trip out of your way or if you are within an hour of closing time. support local business! **edit: They stopped making the hand pies :(

Possibly the best bakery in Sonoma County or even California if you love hearty healthy quality ingredients that are satisfying and priced right. Everything is truly delicious and well made by people who care. So glad it's close to where I live.

Everything is good...vegetarian tamales were amazing, my favorite is the pesto, Asiago croissants.

Just had their sourdough loaf. It's IA the best I've had in awhile. Definitely beats whatever else is out there.
