I went to Vida in April 2024 while attending a conference and unfortunately was underwhelmed. The service was not very good- after I placed my order, I never saw my waiter until I flagged him down for the check, so he never asked if I needed anything or how my meal was (which to me is bare minimum). The person who was pouring water at other tables walked past me so once again I had to wave my hands for him to come over. I had the grilled cheese & tomato bisque for $19; for the price, I expected better- all I could taste was how loaded with butter the grilled cheese was (the soup was delicious). This was not a great meal & the service was worse. Also, a service charge was included, so don't be fooled- they're already getting a tip. Would not recommend.
The buffet breakfast is excellent. One of the best I've had. Bacon, eggs, waffles, pancakes, fresh salmon, croissants, omelette, fresh Juice, yoghurt and more. Cost $163 for two adults and two children in 2024 , so is a bit pricey.
I really enjoyed the macho date some avocados smoothie. It is smaller than you would expect from a hotel of the statue. I didn’t order the buffet yet, but it seemed like there were limited options. That being said, I’m used to compare it to something like Vegas. In the smoothie. I’ll be back for the buffet because I feel like it’s a right of passage.M
I came twice. I must say all the waiters and waitresses are really nice and friendly. First time I had a Winter Kale Salad which is make with But squash, quinoa, tosted almonds, pome granate seeds, whole grain citrus dressing and I added grilled salmon. First the brought me the salad with chicken when all my friends had their food. Then I had the right one and I started to eat it but it was totally bland…. I ask to the waiter and he said the dressing is in the bottom. I mixed and still the same. I realized didn’t come with dressing. He brought a cup with dressing. The kale was full of big stains (in the kitchen didn’t prepare it. From 5 I can rated it as a 0.5. Next day I ordered as an appetizer a tomate soup and it was good and as a entree GRILLED FAROE ISLAND SALMON* cauliflower puree, baby kale, bacon spicy honey & orange glaze. The cauliflower was cream…?a really small portion with just literally two small chunks of cauliflower. The salmon taste was “ok” nothing special. As a dessert we share a BANANA STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING banana cake, toffee sauce, vanilla ice cream which was good but they didn’t warm it. One day the cappuccino was good and on the 2nd day was cold.
Very good salad, great service by America
Food was extremely disappointing. The burger is a mess of bun, crunchy potato sticks, and over cooked patty. The prices are a bit embarrassing for the quality of food being put out. The next morning we tried again - breakfast. Once again our sandwich was massive pieces of bread with very little going on in between. I was expecting a lot for the Fontainebleau, and both lunch and dinner disappointed.
The food and drinks were good but the staff is amazing. Adrian is a God bartender. His coworker with the short brown hair is a gem, I didn't get her name but her and I were cracking up having a ball. It was super bowl Sunday so everyone was there in great spirits. You guys made my day! Oh and definitely get the matzoh ball soup, I loved it and a gorgeous model that sat next to me got it and loved it too.
I was waited on by Isaac and I think he's the best server I've ever been waited on by. The service was excellent and the food arrived quickly and was delicious.
