It's food. You won't be wowed, but you won't be hungry. Every aspect lacked passion.

Just walking by this swine establishment minding my own business while waiting on my hair/nail appointment when I hear a young woman sobbing and crying to my right in the alley. So I stop to get a little closer and 2 men are berating and chastising this young woman. She can't get a word in between the one white man yelling at her and asking her" How many times does" he have to tell her to do whatever it was that he was saying & her crying uncontrollably. Then the black dude is just standing there, watching as a witness I guess. More like a bump on the wall. I asked her if she was ok and did she need help and the white dude said, "I'm her boss, mind your business!" The black dude, another employee says, "Ma'am, this doesn't have anything to do with you." Needless to say, I had my bonnet on and 2 broke nails. I think we all know how this ended. Praying that the young lady finds another source of income and realizes her worth. No man/men should be yelling and screaming at employees about work performance or anything else for that matter, on a balcony, in an alley for the world to hear. I wouldn't eat here with somebody else's mouth. Shame on the business, the staff, and anyone else who supports this type of behavior and or records the abuse of women and children without stepping in.

Service was slow to start--we almost walked out. Otherwise a decent place for brunch wit unique dishes.

Food was delicious. The service was a little slow but I still would recommend.

Food and design was great! Perfect for an intimate date or a fun group outing. Our waitress was distracted all night. We got our drinks 20 min after we ordered them and appetizers a bit after that. No one else seemed to have an issue. A table that came in after us got their drinks and meals well before us. We probably got our waitress on an off day so we will be back but it could have been a better first impression.

Vickery's has been around a very long time, and their experience shows. The food is delicious, the bar solid, and the desserts indulgent. The soups are great. Wheelchair folks will be okay. Vegetarians will do nicely.
