Had brunch with two friends and the experience was perfect. The chef/owner Stefano visited our table several times to make sure we were okay. He offered complimentary pastries for us to experience. The food presentations and flavor combinations were unique and wonderful. The restaurant/bakery was bustling with happiness. I will be back for sure and recommend it to everyone. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant was very community friendly. We saw several children enjoying the harmony.
This small and intimate Italian restaurant in the heart of Dorchester is a gem worth the detour! Friends and I had brunch here over the weekend. Everything is home-cooked with passion, and you can taste it, kudos to chef Quaresima! From a wonderful selection of frittatas and baked goods (pastries, breads, croissants, pizzas, to name a few), you won’t be disappointed! Everything we ordered was tasty and the combination of all the flavors was superb. The service was also impeccable, with a friendly staff very attentive to details. Chef Quaresima also took time to interact with all the patrons, and it felt like we were taken care of by a friend! Thank you to the entire team at Via Cannuccia; this was a tasteful and memorable experience, and we will be back!
We had brunch here on Sunday and saying it was above and beyond my expectations is an understatement. We had pastries and ordered avocado toast, the banana French toast and the omelets. We also had several pastries which included the raspberry croissant and mini pizza. It was simply an amazing gastronomic experience from one bite to the next. The flavors were delicious and delightful combinations of sweet and savory. Stefano (the owner) came by our table to check on us and he was so warm and welcoming to us that we felt like we were guests in his home! We look forward to returning soon to try some of their other amazing dishes. A special thanks to their whole staff for impeccable service and making a memorable Sunday brunch for us!!
This is honestly my favorite restaurant in Boston. They have the best dinner and brunch and it never disappoints. The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond. The food is delicious and on Sundays for brunch they have homemade pastries available. 10/10 spot
Fantastic food and thoughtful service by everyone on the wait staff!
I'll preface this with the fact that I'm a dual citizen of Italy and try area Italian restaurants hesitatingly. This place got rave reviews, so I went in last night on a reservation with two friends. The servers were quite frazzled, leading to extremely long times in between being seated and getting the menu, ordering apps and ordering dinner, etc. But it wasn't a huge deal because we weren't in a rush. Our server was a very kind woman, but unfortunately the language barrier was such that it was difficult to communicate my Celiac disease/gluten free needs. Unfortunately one of the bussers spilled a dish of oil all over my friend, and other than a quick "sorry," nothing else was done. Would have been nice to bring her a wet towel or something. Now, the food. The kale caesar bowl? Out of this world. Like, oh my god, incredible. My first thought was, "This type of recipe is how I can hide vegetables for my husband and kids to eat and enjoy." DIVINE. What do you people do to that caesar??? My bolognese was good, full stop, but then EXCELLENT the next day when given more time for the ingredients to meld together. And, the fresh grated cheese I used at home complemented the flavor profile a bit better than the cheese they gave at the restaurant. Friends reported that the tiramisu martini was life-changing. The hot meat on the butcher block board was also next level. I kept saying, "I could take this meat, plus some provolone, and GF bread and be happy forever." Overall, we would definitely go back, but we hope that the service can improve a little to really hit this place out of the park!
