Beautiful italiana locale. Food and service amazing.

I love coming here. One of my favorite places in Austin. Drinks were great. Ambience was amazing. But the Carbonara on the menu being titled as such when it’s not carbonara at all. It has cream in it and only a poached egg on the side. At that point, it is definitely not carbonara and should not be titled as such. More closely resembles Alfredo. No real Italian is going to put cream in carbonara. My partner got the lasagna bolognese and it was amazing as usual.

One of the top places for Italian food. I really enjoyed the wine selection and my lasagna. My fiancé however didnt like the cacio pepe. She found it “too watery”. Nonetheless will be coming back to try other dishes Parking: It is around the back of the restaurant.

My family and I had a nice Monday night dinner here at Vespaio. Vespaio has a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The waitstaff and Richard were very friendly and gave us excellent menu recommendations. The suppli for appetizer was so good! I had the shrimp scampi with fresh homemade pasta, DELICIOUS! We will definitely be back with more friends and family!

Great appetizers like the risotto ball and fried cod fritters. Loved the risotto and beef. Be sure to make a reservation.

I wish I could give this place 10 STARS!!!! Best martini in town! BEST service!! My sister and I came in for dinner and we are local austinites who have ALWAYS wanted to try this place and we finally made the commitment to come! Our server (Ani) is what we called him because I don’t know how to spell his name (Aneham?) was truly the star of the show!!! His recommendations and personality is what will keep this place going PLUS the food is utterly phenomenal! My sister and I had a taste of it all! Burrata, crudo, truffle pasta, Pepe, bolognaise, lasagna and the TRUE STAR OF THE MENU…. The unbelievable lemon cheesecake!!!!!!!!! I will raise havoc if this item is ever removed from the menu ahha but seriously!!!! I’ve been dreaming of this place since February 10th and we are making this our new go to splurge spot!!!!!

Charming, intimate, authentic. An Austin classic for a reason. Calamari was light and soft. Carbonara fresh and creamy. Lasagna crispy and cheesy. Cheesecake light and citrusy. Stellar service, delicious cocktails. We will ABSOLUTELY return, so many tasty things to try!
