Varietale Bagels & Coffee

Ordered a smoked salmon on an onion bagel and Iced nut latte. Latte was warm nd had no nut flavor, when served it had no straw so had to get that myself. Onion bagel looked like a plain bagel with no onion flakes toasted on top like every onion bagel I have ever had. Staff told me it's an onion bagel and then walked away. Order came out to go when I said for here. They said I said to go and walked way. All they do is play on their phones and talked to each other in foreign language. They could care less about the customer. The only redeeming figure is its a cute place.

The two ladies that help me when I am there are fantastic people. They make your order just right and they are kind, that’s what keeps me going there almost everytime

1 puff pastry + 1 12 oz coffee should not be $12 Lol. The pastries were STALE AND HARD! Definitely could tell it was left out and they save their pastries for the next day sale and probably for days after that if they don’t sell. I don’t see this coffee shop staying in business for much longer. They are stingy with everything with all their signage of you can only use Wi-Fi and bathroom if you are a paying customer. Trashy!

Food is great, but it's a small place, so be prepared to wait 30 minutes for a sandwich if there's more than half a dozen people in there.

Food was EXCELLENT

Cardboard bagels, served rudely. Honestly, these are the worst cafe bagels in Chicago, and that's saying something. To their credit, the coffee is OK and the space is cute. Poor, unreliable Wi-Fi is the least of its problems. One of the young dude cashiers is constantly texting and ignoring customers. I really wanted to like it, but after several visits, I have to give up unfortunately... It's bad :(
