Great tasting hot pandesal. 3 bec of the clerk. He/she/they had to be asked 4x before she answered my question if they have hot pandesal. She pointed to the heating oven with attitude and said "here.. how many?" Before i even got the chance to ask my husband she had loaded a dozen which is too much for 2 people. I paid and said thank you and walked away towards the back door. Oh I was 2nd in line, the one in front of me, asked her if they have pandesal and he told me that they don't have regular only the whole wheat. Whatwas that all about? Smh
Awesome place to buy Filipino bread and in a great shopping mall.
Love this small tropical bakery located inside Eagle Rock Plaza. They sell a variety of Filipino bread, sweets and pastries. Their cheese pandesal and ube pandesal are very good with coffee for breakfast. The ube cheese bread roll is a must try!
The food here is incredible. I do have a comment though. Having been to 3 different Valerio’s, the food is the best here. Why three stars, you wonder? When I stood in line there was a woman behind me that was incredibly rude to everyone else in line. She rolled her eyes at someone, cut in behind me when someone else was there, and somehow ordered items I wanted to order before me. It made those items unavailable for me which is unfortunate since this line is supposed to be first come first served. The woman continued to talk about how much everyone in line sucks in Tagalog to the employees, and somehow paid before me. Your decision to serve a rude person (giving her the priveledge to skip the line and pay before us, as well as depriving me of turon) who blatantly showed disrespect to other patrons respectfully waiting in is why I knocked you down two stars. Three people in line talked about the negative experience they had. It’s unacceptable. Btw, the ube ensaymada is 10/10. Yum!
I used to love Valerio's Baked goods. However, lately I have noticed a dramatic increase in their prices:( I know we are having an economic struggle due to pandemic but the quality of their breads has declined too. Even though we paid a hefty amount of money ,we expected a better quality. the pandesal looks bigger but the size doesn't matter if it ain't good. The sudden price increase doesn't make up for the quality of the bread they're selling but that's just my 2 cents. Recently we learned that it's easier to DIY your own if you'd like a better pandesal.
