This place is a godsend to add to your CSULB / college survival dinner rotation. I've gone here probably 2-3 times a month since they opened and have never been let down. It is comparatively a lot cheaper than other sit down restaurants, and is extremely good. I would recommend the Satay Chicken plate with curry rice, it is my go to every time I go to Uncle Fung.
Amazing laksa soup!! Very friendly staff. Good prices
I enjoyed it. Except for when they brought the check.
I had NEVER heard of this cuisine before. Food was delicious, everything was good. The workers were so nice. Great first experience. The skewers plate we ordered had a fusion feel to it like Indian & Thai. So good!! Plenty of parking.
Have lived in Singapore for many years, and this is my go-to place in the area. Have tried their char kway tiao and vegetarian curry rice plates and both were delicious!
Uncle Fung provides a casual dining experience inspired by a street vendor. The Cornish Game Hen was very tender and flavorful. Their Char Sui was also very tasty in the stir fried noodle dishes. Two entrees came up to around $30 and the portion size was perfect for a quick bite for lunch. Vegetarian options: Tofu stir fry looked amazing
9 dollars for only two pieces of parata was not worth it, bathroom did not work at all, service was okay, food was decent. It could use a lot of working out on, first and last time trying out this place.
This restaurant is an authentic taste of hawker style Malaysian/Singaporean food. The chicken satay, mie goreng, and roti prata all tasted very similar to the real thing.
