Two Fat Cookies

Best bakery! I have ordered from Two Fat Cookies for their special creations for a few special events. The cake is always delicious, full of flavor and perfect texture. The creative team is very helpful and comes up with the best creations. I recently had a Wild One baby shower, I love the monkey, lion, and zebra they created. I had many questions, Zoey was patient and answered all. I highly recommend.

I don’t live in Florida anymore and I still think about my last experience at Two Fat Cookies. Spoiler alert: it was NOT good. Short version: Please do not use this bakery for custom cookies. The design was beautiful but the quality and customer service were awful. Long Version: If you are still reading, buckle up because this was a wild experience that I have not forgotten 3 years later. Back in 2014, we were looking for a Bar Mitzvah cake. I went to the tasting at their old location and it was good cake/customer service. Fast forward to the party, that cake was the BEST CAKE I have ever eaten. Everyone raved on how awesome the cake looked and tasted. So, when we needed a wedding cake in 2019, we of course was going to use them. We have been recommending this business ever since 2014. We go to the tasting at their newest location and the cake was not good. However, they were nice and accommodating. We thought it was just an off day and trusted that it would be good at the wedding. The cake was beautiful but was not as good as the first cake which was disappointing. Now, it is time for the custom cookies story which was the worst experience and the last time I ever used TFC. You are probably wondering why I would use this business again if the last cake was not good. Let me tell you, it was not my choice. I wish I trusted my gut and avoided this business all together. I was planning a baby shower and I was asked to use them. So, let’s start at the planning stage in 2021. I wanted custom cookies that were shaped like an umbrella with flowers and said thank you. I don’t remember the exact pricing but it was between $13-$15 a cookie which I thought was pretty pricey. I asked if I could try the cookie before placing the order to make sure I liked it. They said no, which I was surprised by because to me it doesn’t show good customer service. I was also charged for an umbrella shape template that they had to buy to make the cookie. The woman on the phone just seemed like she was lost in space. Red flags are going off at this point and I would have pulled out if I wasn’t asked to use them. I order the cookies but this is where it really went downhill. At this point, I asked the woman if they put any advertisements on the cookies like stickers that would say “Two Fat Cookies.” I was told no. The cookies would just be wrapped individually in a clear packaging and a ribbon. When 20 cookies are going to cost you almost $300, I do not want some cheap advertisement on them. I was promised no advertising was going to be on the cookies and I was told they were going to call me for final count on a certain date. That date passes, no call. A few days later, I call and give them the final numbers. If you say you are going to call a customer, follow through with it. It’s pickup day, I go in and I am handed the cookies. They are pretty. The flowers looked beautiful. The writing for the “Thank You” were okay. Some were great but some were sloppy. I turn over the cookies and guess what I see. The cheapest clip art advertisement I have ever seen. The worst part was they were placed crookedly on the back. I asked for a manger and I told them I was promised no advertising and asked for them to be removed. That woman was the nastiest person I have ever dealt with in customer service in my life. She was condescending and made me feel like a POS. She was making comments about the situation to the girl working the front while I was standing there. She asked why I wouldn’t want to support their small business. Are you serious? Why would I want anyone to use your business with this experience? I don’t understand how ANYONE can feel that they can talk to people in that manner. I was so taken back.They took the cookies. The next day, I refused to go in and had my cousin pick them up because I was DISGUSTED by the whole experience. I don’t have any pictures of the cookies because I want to forget about them. The taste of the cookie was not worth the hassle. Please consider this story before using this business.

Terribly dry over priced cake. Not friendly at all

Carrot cake was a big disappointment. Not the same as the in past. Is was always our go to.

There is no better place to get custom cakes and exquisite baked goods in Palm Beach County! Every custom cake order is carefully reviewed and Zoe always offers great suggestions. The best part is that a cake from Two Fat Cookies tastes as divine as it looks! And if you don’t need a cake, just stop in for adorable cupcakes in a variety of always changing flavors. The bars and cookies are simply the best around—don’t miss the Nutella bar and the Peanut Butter cookie! Service is always friendly and efficient. Truly the best bakery around!

Cookies were dry and unflavored. The cupcakes were sub par and there could have been a lot more done to create better flavors.

Hi Cookie team , we need to get back to baking fundamentals and improve both your cookie selection and freshness of your cookies. I’ve seen a significant drop off in your product quality these past few years and I’m really disappointed . Let’s get back to Yummy ASAP!

Manager needs customer service training.

Two Fat Cookies is the best! The owners are incredibly kind, and everyone who works there is a joy to speak to. Not only do they provide exceptional customer service, but the cookies are the most delicious my boyfriend and I have ever had!
