Taverna Kyma

Kyma restaurant is my favoutite restaurants in Boca Raton but the general mánager Chris Papavopoulos has a very rude personality When i went there with my family for dinner worse experience ever. Discusting personality rude and even was using bad language in greek for my family and I speak greek so i undersrood everything he was saying to his people about my family right infront of our faces. Horrible experience i will never set a foot in kyma restaurant only if they take out that trush person chris papavopoulos general manager from kyma.

I have returned again to this place. With a few minor comments, i love this place and encourage everyone to try it and taste as many dishes as you can order. We enjoyed the Ouzo and the Mythos beer. As we sat on the table we asked if they had Tsipoura fish and we were told yes. We ordered bunch of dishes and when they started arriving we were told they were actually out of Tsipoura. Anyway, we went on with Large Lavrak, smelts, and other smaller dishes. I am not bug fan of the eggplant dish, i love eggplant but this was not tasty. Other than that, great service, good food.

This place has a great atmosphere, and a pretty good happy hour menu. We arrived early and the restaurant was empty except for one customer eating at the bar. So we decided to sit there since it seemed like that's where the service was. Unfortunately, bartender was not very attentive. When he came over, he was not especially friendly, so we ordered a glass of wine, and decided to move to outside seating. The outside server were attentive and very nice. When you go to a restaurant and spend the money to have a good meal. A waiter can make or break that connection with the restaurant. I've been to this restaurant numerous times and never disappointed. My favorite entrée is the Kayma salad which is loaded with a generous portion of all kinds of seafood. This time we decided to try something different and we shared a roasted chicken dinner and lamb shaved Gyro sandwich. Food was excellent. Wine was great! The happy hour and regular menu prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

Second time having dinner, after matinee at wick, excellent lamb dishes, chicken kebab and shrimp. Perfect place after a show.
