Went to see a live band and never have I ever witnessed a worse sound guy in my life. Please if you’re going to continue to host live music, hire a new sound guy. Not only does he not have a clue what he’s doing, he’s rude and cops an attitude when you ask him to do his job. Kick drum was clipping the whole show, bass levels were being adjusted the whole show from too loud to too quiet, lead guitar was basically unhearable and at one point the sound guy completely cut off the lead vocals because his girlfriend was all over him. Embarrassing. Do better as a bar/venue

There’s a guy named norell. This man is a deep ellum historical landmark and one of the greatest bartenders in the world, in this humble man’s opinion. He greets everyone with warmth and positivity and his inviting heart will only make you fall in love with this bar. Even if he isn’t there. Anyone else behind the bar will radiate just as much positivity and kindness. I first met him when I was a wayward lad with stars in his eyes in the big city. He saw my potential and nurtured it until he claimed I was his equal. But it’s hard to see someone you look up to as an equal. If the measuring stick for human decency were this man, the world would be a better place 3-12-24 update*** I have heard tell of this man’s nomination as best bartender. I cannot recommend a person more suited for that title and rank. He may have served me a simple shot…but he served me more love and respect than even my parents when I graduated from kindergarten. I have personally edited my resume and placed him as a skill just having met him. His smile and more importantly his hugs give more joy than any drug I have done.

Twilite Lounge offers a decent selection of beers and liquors, making it a suitable spot for those seeking a relaxed drink. The atmosphere exudes a nice vibe, providing a comfortable setting for patrons. The venue is worth considering for a casual visit, especially if you appreciate a variety of drinks and a laid-back ambiance. Nice for those looking for a low-key evening with a diverse selection of beverages.

Deep Ellum bar and music venue. Casual, with a laid back and old school vibe (think late 80's hole in the wall) music was hoppin and drinks were just fine, not overly crowded, with a great nix of people. Friendly staff and service. Come fir the live show, stay for the vibe, if u rock n roll

Great live music. Great bar. Their tripel is awesome.

This place can get busy on weekends but it's a cool place to pop in on a weekday after work for a nice cocktail. The bar service is great and I like getting a Last Word here. There is booth seating inside and outdoor seating outside in the back with a smoking section. Facilities include gender-neutral restrooms as well.
