Being from NY this is by far the most similar to a real NY pizza I have found. We dined in and it was a pleasant experience. Wait staff was great! There is a bar inside also with a variety of cocktails

Delicious pizza, with a really good crust. I'd say the best in Tuscaloosa. Wheelchair accessibility: There is one handicap spot, with a wheelchair ramp, but the paving is a bit uneven.

Pretty solid pizza. I prefer a thicker crust and a different style sauce. Overall it was good quality

I am reviewing my first time going to Tuscny after tasting their pizza at a conference 2 weekends ago I was so impressed I sought this place out. I had delicious fresh hot pizza at the conference so I expected nothing less on Friday when I went. I got there around 7:30 and ordered the same exact 20” pizza from the conference just a pepperoni pizza and the cashier was telling me that it would be a while but the cook said no he could get that pizza done right now so I was thinking ok great. He handed her a pizza literally 2 seconds later. And after paying $43 they gave us an old hard pizza that has been sitting under the warmer for hours. I was shocked and I thought about the standard and impression that they were willing to leave for a quick turnaround in order not to waste old product and do the work of making a fresh pizza. I recently watched an episode of masterchef and Gordan Ramsey yelled at the cook for trying to serve the customer leftover risotto from a previous batch made recently. He told her not to disrespect me, my reputation, my restaurant and ultimately my customer by not serving them a fresh meal that they entrusted me to give them. He had these standards for every customer because he served every customer with a unique level of quality for their food. Restaurants have lost their standard of excellence and quality delivered in every plate of food and if you cannot be consistent with your product you cannot be trusted by your customers. I had them once and it was excellent and I went to their establishments to try it again and if all 750 plus people who tried their pizza at the conference did the same thing as me and was given an old stale hard overcooked pizza they will feel robbed and highly disappointed as I did. Wouldn’t recommend this place for this reason and wouldn’t ever return just to throw away $43 again. ***Review update **** 3 months ago we had a bad experience and reviewed the restaurant here at a 1or 2 star and never returned. TuscNY now has new ownership and the new owner looked for us for 3 months to try and make things right. Sunday Jan 7th he found us and wanted to apologize for the pizza and service we had that night. He explained that TuscNY is upgrading their menu, their service and their hours and was extremely genuine and kind. After speaking with him for a while I am certain that under his leadership TuscNY will be the best pizza restaurant in Tuscaloosa and perhaps the state of Alabama. Long story short I lean on solid reviews for many things and this is the first time I have seen the leader of a company reach out like this and make things right. He appreciated our review and wanted to make TuscNY better. This is accountability at its finest and I am seriously urging the entire city of Tuscaloosa to support this new leader and enjoy the best pizza in the state! When they make it right it is absolutely delicious and the commitment to Tuscaloosa is to make every pizza right the first time. Fresh and delicious is what to expect from now on and it is worth every penny and worthy of being the place to build new family traditions for family pizza night!

A homey pizza spot in Tuscaloosa! While stopping by the University of Alabama, I found this little gem! Atmosphere: The space is set up like a homey, old time pizza place! It reminded me of simpler days:) Service: The girls who were working here the day I went were very kind and helpful with any questions I had as well as helped me pick between different items! Menu items: I got their Bacon Chicken Pesto Ranch pizza with their Mixed Berry Tarte and Pistachio Cheesecake for dessert. All of it was delicious! If you’re in the area, this is a nice foodie spot!

We had pizza at TuscNY and it’s the best pizza we have ever tried. I have had pizza in New York and even Italy. I even went to the back and the cook looks Italian. Highly recommend! I will be driving 4 hours to come back!!!! Vegetarian options: They have a lot of options for Vegetarian!
