I want to say I've lived in my neighborhood my whole life. I live right upstairs from this Cafe. The other day, my daughter and her boyfriend went downstairs to order food. We are Latinos. I noticed my daughter was gone for a very long time, at least about forty-five minutes. I got concerned, so I called her, and she said they were still waiting. I knew what time it was..I want to begin to say,I am forty five years old and probably a little jaded with life.my 15 year old kid is an innocent kid. And doesn't see life the way I do. But that day, she got a taste of what it really is. She noticed that they had my daughter and her boyfriend waiting, people came in way after them and were getting their orders. I would like to say that my daughter and her boyfriend didn't even order that much food. It was a drink for each and some corn dogs. And they were attending other people and they were getting their food a lot quicker than my daughter and her boyfriend did. I hate to be that person. But I guess it is what it is. My daughter did notice, and her boyfriend noticed as well that every person that came in after them were asian. I am boycotting this cafe and making sure anybody I know does not ever walk in there again. I guess they forgot what Mission Street/ Excelsior District they walked into. ♀️
