They give you big portions for a great price. Not overpriced like everything else in the city now. Food had lots of flavor and was delicious. Definitely the best Cuban food I’ve had in Chicago.
The best thing about this place was the oxtail. It's in a red pepper sauce, it's not spicy but very delicious. I wasn't crazy about their lechon. My husband did like their jibarito. The yucca was very good but needed way more mojo. Their arroz con gandules was excellent. All their fried stuff was way overfried and hard. Their service was not great.
Ordered a sandwich on Uber Eats, specified no lettuce, tomatoes, or onions. When I received the sandwich, it had all of those ingredients on it, when I called, the clerk told me I would have to personally return the sandwich, I am at work and cannot do that, I will not be ordering from you again.
Fantastic food, and great service. Awesome coffee, too. All at an affordable price. The jibaritos are fantastic-- crispy, and delicious. The white, garlicky sauce is amazing on everything. Their hot-sauce was a bit too vinegar-forward for me, but combined with the white sauce was pretty pleasant. All in all, would recommend and will be frequenting this spot!
I love there food but today was the worst with customer service not only I call to place my order but coming in here the lady also may me wait and still didn't take my order
Just went in for a Cuban sandwich which is exceptional and I order here all there time… yet the girl at the front counter tried charging me for a 1/4th filled tiny cup of garlic sauce. Maybe if you’re gonna charge fill it up all the way at least??? I handed it back to her and said forget it. Now I get to eat a dry 15$ Cuban sandwich with no sauce….And funny because if you eat there they give you an entire bottle of it when you sit down and eat. That’s like a Mexican restaurant charging for salsa for your taco.
