I'm always in & out, I wish the Canales were there more than just Saturday.
Always an amazing small bakery experience.
This place rocks! I was in the hospital for a month and had trouble eating both during my stay and afterward; I kept myself alive on their croissants. The turkey and cheese and the chocolate croissants are to die for, and my partner loved their baguettes. Even the plain croissants were perfection. I didn't love their brownies (but that's because I'm picky and don't like nuts in my chocolate). Reasonably priced, everyone in there was lovely, and their other pastries are worth a try as well.
This place went downhill after new ownership. This is what I got from my last visit. 1. The baguettes are harde. They kinda crumble easily. 2/5. 2. Butter croissants. The ones on display are a lot bigger than the ones on the trays that they grab from. They are not flaky and they don't taste good. Costco croissants are much better. 0/5. 3. Blueberry Danishes were 4/5. 4. Sugar brioche 3/5. Not as good as before.
I recently got introduced to Trompeau and was angry I just now found out about the most delicious pastries in the world! Also the staff is extremely friendly and hard working. I noticed one specific gentleman who was going out of his way to help out with not only servicing the customers but basically keeping the bakery running. He’s got tattoos and glasses! Shout out to that guy!
Go-to place for a quick bite to eat and coffee. Would highly recommend
Favorite place to get authentic French pastries. Can be incredibly bust some days.
Their green chile croissant was one of the best croissants I've ever had. The 4 other croissants I had there were also very good and will definitely be returning with my daughter!
