They did not pay attention to my order so had to wait for corrections.
Tres Amigos used to be really good and QUITE busy. As I read the "live" time it says "Busier than usual." I can count the number of guests dining in right now (less than 20). My husband and I wanted the fajitas. They were good, but I've seen fajitas for two at other restaurants, and there's more meat. Our daughters joined us a little later and only wanted dessert (chocolate and vanilla ice cream and a strawberry cheesecake). Despite what the menu offered, there was no chocolate ice cream. Only vanilla and mango. There was also no strawberry cheesecake. How hard is it to update the sheet of paper and stick the new page in the lamination sheets? My daughter walked in with a Dr. Pepper and the hostess staff said nothing to her. Our friendly waitress asked if we wanted her to throw it out. No thank you. My daughter just went back to the car with it. Overall, I enjoyed it better pre-pandemic.
Muy buen servicio me gustó mucho la comida
I went to Tres Amigos with my co-workers for a 1 hour lunch break. Upon entering the restaurant had 2 groups of people eating in the dining area a several in the bar area. We placed our drink & food orders. 40 minutes later we were supplied with our food on hot plates and styrofoam containers to go with now prompting or forewarning. Each bill was assigned a gratuity. The manager didn’t remove the gratuity another gentleman did, no offer to remove drinks or any compensation for the lack of communication about why the food took so long only to say everything was fresh. I don’t know how fresh some ground meat, lettuce, tomatoes, pre-made taco shells, rice & beans could be. Everyone’s food was cold. This is not a place I recommend for lunch and any other time for that matter.
I ordered carne guisada to go. Rice and beans as my side. I arrived and picked it up as they were bagging it up in the kitchen assuming it was hot and fresh. I drove 6 minutes home and the Carnegie guisada was warm at best, the beans and rice were cold. Might be good if it was served hot
Mixed feelings. My brother ordered the guisada and he said it was great. My mother and I shared the fajita nachos. We were not as thrilled to see 3 tiny pieces of meat on each nacho. We did snack on them since we were hungry, but for $15 pricing I would expect to have a few more pieces of meat. Will definitely try again and maybe it was an off moment when we ate there. Tea was great and chips and salsa were also great. Avoid nachos if they only put 3 pieces of meat on them. Not worth it for the price.
Service was fast and we were never waiting for refills. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back. So glad we stumbled onto this place!
