The tortas were actually not very good. Not even close to good!,
My go to place at ORD for a bite. As a vegetarian, their corn and poblano chowder, the taqueria salad and the guac are all phenomenal. They have 2 locations near the H/K and the B Gates and it's worth walking to either for your fix. My only gripe is they are usually crowded and during takeaway, they will forget to give you silverware. Twice I've say in the plane with a salad and found no fork
I usually hate traveling through O’Hare, but any stop at Tortas Frontera makes the layover 10x better. Flavorful food, well marked Vegetarian options, what more could I want? Pro-Tip: Use their app and order ahead while your arriving flight is taxiing. By the time I got off the plane, used restroom and walked to B concourse, my food was ready just as I arrived to the restaurant.
Excellent taste! I ate the chicken chipotle.
Good food but wow, very very slow. Even at non-peak times. Develop a better system of getting customers through the line quicker. Edit: Is it just me, or did the Torras shrink by about 30%. This USED to be my favorite restaurant at ORD.
Food is great. Flavorful and tasty. Issue is in an airport waiting 20 minutes from order to grab and go unacceptable.
Ordered a Cuban panini which was inedible. Super fatty, tough “roasted pork” and barely cooked bacon?!? All put together on a mealy roll which didn’t seem to be pressed at all. Overall a sad excuse for a torta. Tortilla chips were advertised as “freshly cooked” but very super stale and the guac was mediocre. To top it all off, very slow service- 20 minutes to get a sandwich.
