The place was frickin awesome !
Went to Torres' for a family outing. We had 7 adults and 3 children. Restaurant was clean and the manager was very welcoming. Our reservation was not ready so we waited about 15 minutes. We ordered food and it came out in waves. The one thing they did do right was to bring out the kids food first. I had ordered the three enchiladas. It came with a little bit of lettuce. The 3 enchiladas as far as the flavor and taste it was marginal. Those that ordered fajitas said they were good and plentiful. The biggest drawback was the waitstaff. Once they dropped off the food, we never saw them again. We had to wait to get our checks. They automatically put a 20% tip on the ticket. The service was far from a 20% worthy. We did break up our bill which was a little bit of a hassle for them and I apologize for that, but they also double charged one of the credit cards. Being from out of town, I probably will not be back.
When it comes to a restaurant it is my opinion that one of the most important things is that your waiter and or host is nice and helpful. Which I can say today every single encounter I had with staff was pleasant, and helpful. Now. The food was amazing. I had the pozole. It was like eating my mother in-laws . Anyway, everything was great and I wasn't feeling the best. Our waiter gave me some remedy which I believe was alkaseltzer just to help me out . The gesture was so nice and truthfully I felt way better after. I will be coming back going forward because I appreciate good food and good people. Highly recommend.
