We’ve eaten at Too Jays in the past but it was our first time at this location. Food was wonderful. Restaurant was clean. Waiter was friendly but somehow our order must’ve gotten waylaid because even though we were the first one being seated and ordered quickly our food ended up coming out after like 4 other tables of diners that arrived after us. Just puts a damper on the evening. When the food came out it wasn’t complete so 1/2 of our party got food and then we waited for the 2nd half. great service fantastic staff delicious food highly recommended to family and friends
Service was very slow, and the waitress blamed the kitchen. Eventually 2 of 5 dinners came out 10-15 min before the others.
Not the same delivery it was. Slow service too.
We went there for dinner earlier this week and were very displeased with the service and food. The waiter was not friendly. We had to ask him three times for our drinks. He never came back to ask if we needed refills or to ask how the food was. He merely came back and slapped the bill on the table without a thank you. There was no one at the front to take our check and we waited 10 minutes for our waiter to eventually handle the transaction. There were maybe 10 people in the restaurant so it was not busy. Speaking of the food, it was mediocre at best. There was not one piece of chicken in the chicken noodle soup. It took 20 minutes to get a potato knish that was flat and tasteless. I would not return to this restaurant
Our server was great. The chicken noodle soup was advertised as "loaded with chicken and vegetables" but it was only loaded with noodles. The latkas were swimming in grease. Very disappointed.
Food was excellent. Ate there at 430 New Year's Eve.. 2 other tables of people came in after us.. we were the only ones there.. please support this establishment. Parking: parking right across the street with ramp entrance to Too Jay's Kid-friendliness: plenty of food for a kid to choose from Wheelchair accessibility: wheelchair parking spots and a ramp
This place has gone downhill considerably over the last few years!! There is hardly ever any staff available to help patrons. Plan on waiting for long periods. If the restaurant is busy - you won't get any service. You can see the staff running around frazzled and feel guilty not wanting to generously compensate them for a miserable experience. It's clearly not their fault.
