Tofu House

Modest surroundings, but very clean, including bathrooms. Hot stone soup (br rice, vegetarian, with raw egg added at the table) was delicious. Meal stayed hot throughout. Vegetarian options: The Tofu House serves 4 different before-the-meal cold appetizers (kimchi, cucumbers, and others.) They were somewhat spicy, and tasty.

Poor service, small menu, average Korean food. Arrived with a party of 3, was pointed towards a 2-person table. No indoor hoods to ventilate, so during busy hours you will be sitting in a what feels like an air fryer. Bottled only alcohol. All things considered, the price point did not align with the portion size or food quality. I actually struggle to think of a Korean restaurant anywhere in America where I have been less impressed. With the location being on Convoy it was especially underwhelming. I would sooner eat store bought Korean food from H-Mart than eat here again.

I saw the reviews about the bibimbap and figured it was user error, if you dont start mixing the dish right away then ofc the rice at the bottom will burn but when I received my bibimbap even when I went right to mixing my rice was very burnt and tasted burnt. Idk if its the stoneware or what but that's the first time I've experienced that and Ive eaten bimbimbap plenty of times. And the male server, he wasn't rude, I could tell he's trying his best but I can also tell he hates his job lol. Very forced smile. The service wasn't warm and inviting at all. So I just ate my food and vowed never to return again. 2 stars cause the cucumber kimchi was actually pretty good.

Wanted to come here to eat with my family and the server immediately gave us an angry face. When we began ordering he started yelling at us bc we were confused at the menu. We asked for a different server and he said he didn't have another one. His name is Jim or Tim. Mira mesa location is far better service.

Good food but they throw you the check before you start eating that's so rude

Service is terrible. Workers are rude. Plenty of similar restaurants nearby. Avoid this place. This is the waiter we had the horrible experience with. Seen a lot of other negative reviews about server and this must be him.

Unfriendly people. With a lot of open table, I had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Tofu soup with pork and kimchi was terrible and could not eat more than half
