Honestly, we love this place. Not only do they offer a HUGE selection of gluten free and vegan dishes, their non-GF options are great. Weird to say it, but they have the best eggplant parm! Not sure how an Australian restaurant has won that award (in my life at least) but when it is on the menu, I regularly order it to share with family and friends.... None have been disappointed. I remember my first time there, when I had the chance to try the vegan key lime pie they had at the time (not something I'd order but was ordered for the table at a friend's birthday party), it was insanely good! There have definitely been a few times I've ordered out from them and been a bit disappointed. Most recently there seems to have been a change to their vodka pasta dish and they've removed the eggplant parm, but... if you're in the area looking for a spot, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Occasional live music there is also usually provided by really talented groups. Well done Thirsty Koala, well done. Amazing, finally found halal steak restaurant with food quality 10 out of 10 and a good selection menu and also a gluten free in Astoria, New York. Today we tried the 10 Oz Pastured NY Strip Steak (New Zealand, GF, Halal) 10 out of 10 and also the Organic Chicken Marsala (GF, Halal) with the truffle fries also 10 out of 10.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. The bowl with kale and halloumi was out of this world!

Thus is ALWAYS A most enjoyable experience !!!! The food is fantastic and Kathy always creates a gastronomic festival (and no worries about allergens !)

Had a wonderful meal with a group of friends here. The staff is very friendly and the food was quite tasty with a decent selection for everyone in our party.

The Gingeroo for Brunch was absolutely delicious! Went on Sunday and they were very packed! The Ned Kelly and the Brekkie Sanga had a great taste and value especially on the price ! Would love to go again Saturday!

Very tasty food, menu with many options, friendly owners, warm atmosphere. We were all very satisfied!
